The Honouree
Born in Arvida, Quebec, Paul Deutschman developed a
passion for sketching cars during his boyhood. He
earned a mechanical engineering degree in England
and won first prize in an auto design competition there.
He later returned to Quebec and went on to an illustrious
career that continues to this day. He has done the
body design for numerous highly acclaimed vehicles,
ranging from the 3-wheeled
T-Rex to the Dynasty IT
electric car. He has collaborated with performance car
builder Reeves Callaway on several occasions. In 2007
he was responsible for the body design of the Callaway
C-16 Coupe and C-16 Speedster. He has
also worked extensively for the recreation product division
of Bombardier.
